I haven't been in Corpus long, but my first three years were, in part, marked by getting to see Kelly many mornings when she made my office a place a person would want to be in. I tended to work late, and consequently arrive after she had finished, but perhaps once a week I'd get to see her, and she was so wonderful that just that time is enough that I know I'll miss her, her warmth and professionalism, her caring attitude and her dedication to supporting students and academics. I don't claim to have known her well, but I know I was lucky even to know her that much.
